Eighth Generation Honda Accord
The Eighth Generation of Honda Accord was launched in August 20,2007. The Accord sedan is marketed in Japan as Honda Inspire albeit a mid size sedan. There will not be a hybrid version for this generation of Accord, but starting from 2009, a diesel version will be offer.
Its V6 models of this Accord give a better fuel efficiency with the introduction of Honda’s Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) system, which will automatically shuts off 2 or 3 of the cylinders during highway cruising and downhill driving (depending on the driving styles).
