Modified Proton Gen-2


Proton is the Malaysian national carmaker. Proton Gen-2 was launched in the third quarter of 2004. The platform was co-developed by Proton and Lotus. Proton Gen-2 is the first Proton to use the Campro (short for Cam Profile) engine – 1.3 liter Campro S4PE and 1.6 liter Campro S4PH both running on DOHC 16-valve inline four configuration.

Proton Gen-2 with A’pexi air filter and Hotbits 4-2-1 straight flow exhaust header. The car’s battery has been relocated to the back of the trunk, this is to make place for the air intake’s custom shield which helps to block out the hot air which reduces the condensation of oxygen.

    ada x sape2 gen2 kalau x start 2 – 3 hari..enjin xleh start terus..coz batry weak / x masuk caj..terus cabut bateri pergi kedai caj..pasg sml n then blh start mcm biasa..backup bateri baru tkr..batery baru setahun..apsal r..pliz2222…

    aku ada pakai gen2,tapi masalahnya bila aku bawa jer ada macam-macam bunyi keluar.kalu ada sapa-sapa yang tahu tolong bagitau aku.

    gen2 x bole start 2……cuba check bateri untuk alarm… ade bwh dashboard sebeleah penunpang…….bateri dia kecik jer…..kene tukar stiep 2 tahun….

    Is there any way that I can fit a Mitsubishi engine (1.8/2.0cc) into GEN2 (model 2007)?

    I’m awaiting a response from the first genius on this post
