Alfa Romeo Brera
Alfa Romeo Brera, the handsome replacement for the Alfa Romeo GTV that is also stiffer and much more sophisticated.
Based closely on the Giugiaro-designed Brera coupe, which rides on a shortened 159 platform, the new Spider eschews the current vogue for metal folding roofs in favors of a conventional fabric top, electrically powered and featuring a solid glass rear window, a first for an Alfa Spider.

Mercedes-Benz ML Class
The Mercedes Benz ML-Class is set to spawn not only the next-generation G-Class above it, but also the new MLK-Class below it. The junior ML will compete head-on with the BMW X3.
Caught testing at Germany’s famed Nurburgring race circuit, the built-in-Bremen MLK has unitary body construction like the ML and will tilt more towards the ‘sports’ rather than the ‘utility’ end of the SUV. MLK engines are likely to mirror those used in the new compact executive saloon, which will go on sale in late 2007, around the same time as the MLK. This suggests that the MLK is being developed alongside the latest C-Class, saving both time and R&D resources.
