MazdaSpeed 3 / MazdaSpeed Axela


MazdaSpeed 3 (North America) or Mazdaspeed Axela (Japan) is a sport compact hatchback first introduced by Mazdaspeed on 2007, it’s an upgraded version of Mazda 3 in terms of style, handling and performance.

Mazdaspeed is a subsidiary of Mazda’s organization which specialize in tuning Mazda’s street car which cater for amateur and professional racing team.

Mazda 3 / Axela is using Ford’s global C1 platform, which was developed by Volvo and is used by Ford Focus 2007 and Volvo C30, S40.

Engine (s) – 2.3 liter turbocharged DISI MZR engine (same as Mazda 6 MPS / MazdaSpeed 6)

Output – 263hp (191kW) and 280 ft lbs (380 N.m)

Petrol – 91 octane gasoline ((R+M)/2)

Layout – Front wheels

Transmission – 6 speed manual

Wheels – 18″inch

Tyres – 215/40/R18 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A

0 – 60 mph (unofficial) – 5.7 seconds

Limited slip differential (LSD) , ABS, traction control and Dynamic Stability Control come as a standard package (not found in Mazda 3).

Perodua Myvi = Daihatsu Sirion/Boon = Toyota Passo = Subaru Justy


Perodua Myvi was born in 2005 by Perodua. Perodua is Malaysia’s 2nd national car manufacturer which has collaborate with Toyota and Daihatsu in which Daihatsu supplies engines and transmissions to their car.

Perodua Myvi is based on the 2nd generation of Daihatsu Sirion/Boon and share the same design with Toyota Passo, and again is been used by Subaru for their 2007 Subaru Justy.

Perodua = Daihatsu is the major shareholder

Daihatsu = Toyota owns 51% of its share

Subaru = Toyota owns 8.7% of Fuji Heavy Industries (parent company of Subaru)

This helps to explain the similarity of Perodua Myvi, Daihatsu Sirion/Boon, Toyota Passo and Subaru Justy.

- K3-VE (1298 cc, In-line 4 cyclinder); DVVT

Transmission (s) – Auto / Manual

Performance – Max. output (DIN): 43 kW (58 hp) / 6000 rpm, 64 kW (86 hp) / 6000 rpm

- Max. torque (DIN): 88 N·m (65 ft·lbf) / 3600 rpm, 116 N·m (86 ft·lbf) / 3200 rpm

Mitsubishi Lancer (9th Generation) Galant Fortis


Mitsubishi Lancer (9th Generation) was first introduced as Concept-X model car during the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show. It is name Galant Fortis (in Japan), Lancer Fortis (in Taiwan). It is a 4-door sean (GS41) running on Mitsubishi GS platform.
